Are you wondering how to save GIF on Android<\/strong>\u00a0using your\u00a0favorite\u00a0browser\u00a0, such as\u00a0Chrome<\/strong>?\u00a0I can assure you that this is an extremely simple operation.\u00a0All you have to do is connect to one of the portals that allow you to download GIFs (by the way, if you do not know what the\u00a0best GIF download sites are\u00a0, read the insight I’ve published in that regard) and download the animated GIFs that most they’ll be building you up as you would with any other “standard” image.\u00a0Now I’ll explain how to do it.<\/p>\n

First, find a GIF of your own liking and, as soon as you find it, hold your finger on it until the menu containing the options for sharing and saving the images appears.\u00a0After that, you tap on the item\u00a0Download image<\/strong>\u00a0and, like “magic”, the GIF will automatically be saved in your photo roll device (you should find it in the folder\u00a0Download<\/strong>\u00a0the\u00a0gallery<\/strong>\u00a0).<\/p>\n

The first app I recommend downloading to your Android device is GIPHY, the official application of the world’s most famous GIF site.\u00a0This is a 100% free solution available for\u00a0iOS\u00a0devices and, of course, as an online service. Its interface is very minimal and this makes it particularly easy to use and intuitive.<\/p>\n

After downloading GIPHY to your smartphone or tablet, launch the app and press the\u00a0x<\/strong>\u00a0symbol\u00a0to close the information cards that are shown when it is started.\u00a0Then go to the GIPHY main screen to view the most popular GIFs of the moment or, if you prefer, search for a snippet on the\u00a0search bar<\/strong>\u00a0and write the description of the image you want to download (use English terms, you’ll find many more results) .<\/p>\n

As soon as you find the GIF you are most comfortable with, click on it to see its preview and, on the screen that opens, tap the symbol\u00a0(…)<\/strong>\u00a0to open the submenu containing the various rescue and sharing options available.\u00a0At this point, click on the\u00a0arrow<\/strong>\u00a0symbol\u00a0to start downloading the animated GIF, and in the pane that appears, tap\u00a0Yes<\/strong>\u00a0to confirm the operation.\u00a0The GIF will be saved to the\u00a0Giphy<\/strong>folder\u00a0that will be created on your device<\/p>\n

GIF Keyboard by Tenor<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Well, in that case, you’re probably looking for an app that will allow you to search and send GIF directly from your device’s keyboard, right? If that’s the case, I recommend downloading to your\u00a0 GIF Keyboard by Tenor device, a keyboard that lets you insert GIF into all the applications it uses. The app is totally free and is also available on iOS and in the form of online service (in this case you can simply download the GIFs).<\/p>\n

After completing the download of GIF Keyboard by Tenor on your smartphone or Android tablet, start the app, click on the Next option and agree to allow Tenor to have access to your device by clicking on the Allow inbox which appears.<\/p>\n

Now, to use GIFs directly from your device’s keyboard, you must first go into your device’s settings and enable this feature. Therefore, start the Settings app (the gear icon on the home screen of your device), whisper in the Language and Keyboard entry, and on the screen that appears on the screen, tap on the Current Keypad, and then on the Select more. Then move the switch lever on the Tenor GIF Keyboard entry ON and, to complete the operation, tap on the\u00a0 Current Keypad again and then tap the check mark next to the Tenor GIF Keyboard option. If you are using a version of Android earlier than 7.0, you must go to the Settings menu > Language and input> Current keyboard> Choose keyboards to activate the keyboard.<\/p>\n
