Huawei P10 Price in UAE- All About The Deceptively Reliable Phone

P9 was Huawei’s finest handset to date until it launched P10. It has a few subtle but impressive additions. However, P10 is the most expensive phone from Huawei as of now and this might be a problem for some customers. It is all set to compete with all the top brands or is it?

Design

If you have looked at iPhone 7, you will have an idea about how P10 looks. The only thing that differentiates it from iPhone 7 is the Leica and Huawei branding on its rear and a USB Type-C port at the bottom of the handset which isn’t a lightning port.

It has a solid metal exterior with the Gorilla Glass 5 on the front screen making it scratch-proof. It is 145.3mm high, 69.3mm wide, and 7 mm thick. P10 weighs 142 grams and hence very comfortable to hold. It has a hybrid microSD card slot that allows the 64 GB memory to be expanded up to 256 GB.

Display

The phone sports a 5.1-inch, 1080p resolution display with 432ppi. It uses IPS-NEO panels for improved viewing angles. Its maximum brightness is excessively high. It has the aspect ratio of 16:9 and the resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.

Software And Performance

P10 comes with Android 7.0 Nougat that can be upgraded to Android 8.0 Oreo with Huawei’s Emotion UI 5.1. Also, it has a HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset along with Octa-core CPU with the combination of 4×2.4 GHz Cortex-A73 and 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A53, along with Mali-G71 MP8 GPU. And not to forget, it has 4 GB RAM.

Apps open in a millisecond, and it can handle multiple tab web browsing without any signs of stuttering. The games also run reasonably smoothly. Call quality is outstanding, and you can use speakers and microphone for making and taking calls on a busy street as well. Speakers are also compelling. P10 has a 3.5mm headphone jack that offers 24-bit/192kHz audio and active noise cancellation with a dedicated mic.

Camera

The dual camera with the Leica’s branding has 20-megapixel monochrome sensor along with the 12-megapixel RGB sensor. The pictures in low light have a lot of noise due to the sub-par f/2.2 aperture, and it also falls short of creating the realistic bokeh effect.

Apart from that, P10 has a pretty decent camera. The main camera can record 4K resolution videos at 30fps or standard FHD footage at 60fps. The recordings are good but a bit shaky if you haven’t done it on a tripod.

The front camera is 8-megapixel with f/1.9 and performs well in low-light as well. The camera app has a custom portrait studio that allows some basic touch-ups.

Other Features

Some other features of P10 that are worth mentioning are:
