Download and install Origin

To download FIFA on a PC, please contact Origin , the digital game distribution service provided by Electronic Arts, the developer of FIFA. The first step you need to do is connect to the Origine Internet site and download the official Origine for Windows client: you can do this by simply clicking the Download button in the Windows pane (the client is also available for Mac, but FIFA no, so in this tutorial I will focus only on Microsoft’s home operating system) and be patient about waiting for the download.

When the download is complete, open the Origin Client Install package ( OriginThinSetup.exe ) and, in the window that appears on the screen, click the Install Origin button. So if you are creating a link to Origin on the desktop and / or the Start menu , whether to start the client with Windows , whether you automatically update Origin and / or share the hardware features of your PC with EA servers (sending statistics to the ” company) by selecting or deselecting the appropriate boxes, putting the check next to the item I read and agree to the Origin End User License Agreement and go ahead by pressing the buttonContinue . Do not enable the Install beta versions of Origin because they are potentially unstable client versions.

Now you just have to wait for the Origin installation: the operation may take several minutes. When the installation authorization window (User Account Control for Windows) appears, answer Yes.

When the installation is complete, you must create an account to use Origin. Then select the Create an account tab located in the root of the Origin client (top right) and indicate, by means of the drop-down menus, your country, and your birth date.

Then tap the check next to the item I read and agree to the Privacy Policy and Cookies and the EA User Agreement, click on the Next button and fill out the new form that is offered to you by email, password and public ID you want to use for accessing Origin. Public ID is the name that other users of the service will see. Name and surname are optional fields: you can also leave them blank

At this point, put the check mark next to I’m not a robot , click the button Next , set up a security question (for use in case of loss of username and password) and choose through the pull-down menus my profile, my business, and my friends can be seen from , the level of privacy of your activities on Origin.

Finally, choose whether to allow other players to find you by email and receive a promotional emails by checking or unchecking the boxes and clicking on the Create Account button to complete the process of creating your account. You will need to confirm your identity using the link provided by EA via email.

Download FIFA on your computer

You now have an Origin account, so you can download FIFA on your PC. Then, start the Origin client, select the Sign In tab (top left) and log in using the credentials you chose during the registration.

In the window that opens, use the side menu to access the Browse Games> FIFA of Origin section and select the title of your interest, such as FIFA 18 .

If you want to download the demo of FIFA, instead, you need to click on the Try the demo button under the purchase button of the game. Then you have to press the Download with Origin button, you have to set the language you want for the title (eg English ) and you must click the Accept button.

Next, you have to choose whether to create a link to the FIFA demo on the desktop and / or the Windows Start menu using the appropriate check boxes (you may also change the game installation path, but I do not recommend it), you have to go ahead and you must agree to the FIFA Terms of Use by clicking on the check next to the item I read and agree to the above licensing agreements .
