After the success it had with the SurBook on Indiegogo, Chuwi Corebook is about to propose a new “economic” rival to Microsoft’s Surface Pro. It is the CoreBook, which, according to the manufacturer, will offer interesting technical specifications at a very competitive price.
In the next few days, the fund-raising campaign will start on Indiegogo, and given the one million dollars obtained by its predecessor, it should have equally good results.
Going to the technical side, like all Chuwi proposals, we find a CPU that is not really the top of the range: in this case, a Core m3-7Y30 dual-core chip with Hyper-Threading support and a boost frequency of up to 2.6 GHz. We are talking about a solution with Kaby Lake architecture with a TDP of 4.5 watts, which will surely guarantee high autonomy for the device.
Chuwi CoreBook is a Windows-based 2-in-1 convertible and will use a 13.3-inch display with Full-HD resolution; we will find 6GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage . Other features to point out are supporting Stylus 1024 levels and unlocking the device through Touch ID.
At the moment, there are no details on the price; we expect information from the producer, as well as following the campaign on Indiegogo.
