After the success achieved on Indiegogo with the SurBook , Chuwi is about to propose a new “economic” antagonist to Microsoft’s Surface Pro. This is the CoreBook , which, according to what the manufacturer knows, will offer interesting technical specifications at a very competitive price.

Chuwi CoreBookThe funds campaign will start on Indiegogo in the next few days, and considering the one million dollars achieved by its predecessor, it should yield equally good results.

Going to the technical side, like all the Chuwi proposals, we find a CPU not really top of the range: in this case, Core m3-7Y30 , dual-core chip with Hyper-Threading support and boost frequency up to 2.6 GHz. We are talking about a solution with Kaby Lake architecture , with a TDP of 4.5 Watt, which will surely guarantee a high autonomy of the device.

Chuwi CoreBook is a Windows-based 2-in-1 convertible and will use a 13.3-inch display with Full-HD resolution; we will find 6GB of RAM and 128GB SSD storage . Other features to point out are then support Stylus 1024 levels and unlocking the device through Touch ID.
